We’re proud to be celebrating more than 25 years organising high quality cycling and walking holidays. Here at Bents, we take care of everything for you – from flights and hotels, to the choice of route. Best of all, we ensure that you have the freedom to explore each destination at your own pace.

Bents Bicycle and Walking Tours is a member of AITO, the Association of Independent Tour Operators. All AITO members are fully bonded, so you can book your holiday with confidence and peace of mind. We also guarantee that the price of your holiday, as shown on our booking confirmation, is the price you’ll pay - there’ll be no surcharges or nasty surprises.

Each of our chosen destinations has been carefully selected to offer a wide range of activities, from mountain walking and water sports to visiting historical monuments and castles. Most importantly, excellent cycling and walking excursions are available in each area, all carefully researched by us to suit everybody.

This year we have two exciting new cycling holidays: a route along romantic river valleys in the Heart of Bavaria, where medieval villages and beer brewing monasteries will be among the highlights and, an enchanting tour through Istria in Croatia, where you will stay in a splendid hilltop castle and take a dip in the pristine Adriatic.

We also have two fantastic tours returning this summer: the delightful wine themed Alsace – Route du Vin and, the picturesque Carinthian Lakes; a cyclist’s paradise in southern Austria. All except two of our tours are available in two formats. The first is the ‘Original Bents Formula’ of two night stays at each hotel, moving on alternate days. This format is available on all dates. You can also choose our ‘One Night Stops’ itinerary, which includes two nights in your first hotel, followed by just a single night in each subsequent hotel. This formula is offered on selected dates. Our Heart of Bavaria and Moselle tours have specially chosen itineraries tailored to their respective landscapes.

In response to many requests, we have added electric bicycles to our fleet. These are available at a small supplement and, should you choose one, will help you ride up hills with ease and keep going longer and further with minimal effort.

All of our holiday prices include flights from the UK and airport transfers. We offer scheduled flights from an array of regional UK airports to all of our destinations. We are also happy to arrange your flights using low cost carriers from any airport in the UK. Simply give us a call and we will research the best options for you.

Before I came on this cycling holiday, I didn’t know what to expect but it’s been absolutely fantastic - if you want a holiday combining fresh air, sightseeing and exercise, this is perfect.
