Walking Holidays
Take to your feet, enjoy the feeling of freedom and experience Alpine hospitality at its best...
Sixteen years ago, we introduced walking holidays to our programme and they have proved every bit as popular and successful as our cycling holidays. In planning our walking holidays, we have followed the same style and format which works so well for our cycling holidays. We have kept the daily distances and the difficulty of the walks to a level that any healthy person can easily manage. With careful research, we find the best routes for each day, described in great detail in a comprehensive information pack. Your luggage will be carried for you in one of our vans, and will be waiting in your hotel room when you arrive. Your days are then left free to organise as you choose. The mountain paths and tracks in Bavaria are extremely well marked, so either use our suggested routes, or, if you prefer, use the maps provided to find your own way.
At each of the excellent hotels, you’ll enjoy Alpine hospitality at its best. We have paid particular attention to their position, ensuring you are either, always at the heart of the village or town where you are staying, or, at a remote location of outstanding beauty. Our representatives are all fluent German speakers and naturally all have a keen interest in Germany and its culture. As well as overseeing the smooth running of your holiday, they will be happy to offer advice and impart their local knowledge.
